Commonly Asked Questions

How does this process work?
The first step is to make your reservation through our custom orders page. Once you book your reservation you will receive a confirmation email. While you are waiting on your wedding day you can browse our packages and pieces to see what interests you most. One month before your event date you will receive an electronic order form, along with shipping instructions, to select the products you want. Once we recieve your order form we will send you your final invoice. Now, your wedding day has finally arrived! You will ship your flowers on the next business day according to our shipping instructions. Once we receive your flowers we will begin drying them. This process takes about 6-10 months. Once the flowers come out of the drying process we will provide you with a design proof before placing your flowers into resin. The whole process can take anywhere from 6-10 months depending on the size of the order.

Can you use already dried flowers?
Absolutely! If you are interested in preserving your air dried bouquet into resin art, please refer to our previous FAQ on how the process works. The only difference is that we do not have to dry your flowers and there are separate shipping instructions for them. Our dry flower shipping instructions are located at the bottom section of our shipping instructions document. You are still required to make a reservation for flowers that are already dried.

Do you take reservations?
Yes! I prefer to plan ahead. If I am fully booked with reservations for the week I cannot accept any last-minute orders.

Will the resin art last overtime?
Yes, they will. The only thing I recommend is to keep the resin out of constant direct sunlight and do not store them in a place with extreme heat. Heat and constant sunlight will cause the resin to yellow.

What happens with my leftover flowers?
The flowers that are not used in your art piece can be sent back with your order upon request. The request must be made at the time of flower delivery. If you want them returned to you it will be an additional fee of $20 to cover higher shipping costs. If you would like the remainder of the flowers preserved it will be an additional fee assessed upon the size of your bouquet. Please talk with the shop owner.

Do you offer layout options?
We will provide a design option for your larger main pieces for you to review before we pour the resin. Our order form has a place for you to provide input on design preference prior to us starting your layout. Minor adjustments can be made after we send the proof over. If you are not satisfied with the design, it will be an additional $50 for the designer to create an entirely different option with your flowers.

Do all flowers dry the same?
No, unfortunately not all flowers dry the same. For example red roses dry much darker than their original color. Lilies and orchids dry paper thin. Some flowers can have “bruising” which causes translucent spots on the petals when they are in resin. We unfortunately cannot preserve succulents. Please feel free to inquire with us if you are curious about the exact flowers you will have in your bouquet.

Additionally, we can only preserve your flowers in the condition in which we receive them. We strongly urge you to follow our packing and shipping instructions for the best results.
